Panel of the Week – Batman, Batman, and Also Batman

Every Wednesday, GeekParty highlights the week’s best comic book panels. Last week, Mandi pasted Kirby over chimera nipples. This week, she’s consoling herself by reading Batman.

Like most human beings in possession of a soul, I have a strong appreciation for Batman. Other heroes may have fancier gadgets or actual superpowers, but no one can top Batman when it comes to being cool. He’s faced demi-gods,  taken down criminal empires, and kept the best butler in comics gainfully employed for decades. How can you not think he’s awesome?

Sometimes, though, I feel like I may have a little too much appreciation for Batman. Like, say, when I look through my comics and realize that nearly every book I’ve picked up is connected to Gotham in some way.

From Batman to Batman to even more Batman, this is Panel of the Week!

Geez, Batman. Show a little consideration for the guy who’s going to have to pick up those cards.potw batman eternalImage Source: Batman Eternal #43 by DC Comics. Art by David Lafuente.

That tiny text bubble you probably can’t read says “Life’s full of disappointments.” Somehow, I don’t think this comic is what they were referring to.
