I live in Boston. On Friday night, winter storm Nemo rolled into town. Why did it have such a stupid name? I have no idea. But that’s what the weather channel decided to call it: winter storm Nemo, also known as Snowmageddon 2o13. Every news station felt it imperative to alert us that we were all gonna die. Of course, I didn’t believe any of this bullshit, but it was a good excuse to go buy a bunch of junk food.
Friday night saw about two and a half feet of snow. After digging myself out this morning, I wrapped my feet in some plastic bags, threw on a bunch of clothes over my pajama pants, and took a wild trek up Mass Ave, which for you non-Bostonians, is the busiest street in Boston. I also took a bunch of pictures, then took a walk up to Davis Square.
Well, rather than me blathering on about it, why don’t you just check out these photos?
